Point Me to the Plane - $9.99 Enterprise Weekend Rental Deal

Every company I've ever worked for seems to have an exclusive contract with Avis…which is perhaps why I'm very late to this amazing Enterprise weekend deal. Thanks to Slickdeals reposting the offer, I was able to rent a car this weekend for $9.99 plus tax.  The rate is available Friday-Monday at select locations. Airports and major cities (NYC, LA, SFO, etc.) are excluded but smaller neighborhood stations just outside the excluded cities work. For example, the code was accepted this weekend at locations in Brooklyn, Queens, New Jersey, and Long Island.

The deal is valid any Friday-Monday until May 22, 2013 but ONLY allows for 100 miles per day. Any additional miles are charged at .20 per mile. The offer is valid on Economy through Full Size cars at rates from $9.99 per day up to $19.99 per day.  See here for full details.

Valid at participating neighborhood locations within the U.S. and Puerto Rico only for rentals reserved in advance. Rental must begin on or after September 6, 2012, and end on or before May 22, 2013. Offer rate of $9.99 per day applies to an Economy or Compact car rented on Friday and ending the following Monday, and includes 100 miles per day. For certain locations, rates of less than $9.99 per day may be available. Sorry, this offer is not valid at airport locations and availability is limited. Rates are as posted at time of reservation at enterprise.com. Offer cannot be combined with other coupons, offers or discounted rates. Standard rental qualifications apply. Offer rate does not include 23% or lower tax and/or additional surcharges, $0.20 or less per mile for excess miles, vehicle licensing fees of $4 or less per day, refueling fees, additional driver fees and optional damage waiver of $29.99 or less per day, which are the responsibility of the renter.
